This is given to the workers after their work contract has finished. This one is in Spanish but it says that Mr.Quezada has completed his work contract under the labor migration agreement of 1951 under amendment as a bracero. The government of the United States of America presents this honorable mention in appreciation of the contribution lent to increase the production of food and fiber necessary for the defense effort of the nation.
This is a dicument that dates back to 1952 and we cab see that the workers fingerprints are on the certificate. This was used as a way to let workers now that their job was done and that they had to return back to Mexico, once they returned home they had the opportunity to receive a new contract or not come back.
